Maar voor ik verder ga met mijn beleving van het GAPS-dieet, nog even een leuke mededeling:
Ik ben door Sportsnuts.nl gevraagd een gastblog te schrijven. Best spannend om te doen, maar vooral erg leuk!
Hier kun je mijn stukje lezen op hun site over ‘Fytinezuur, het addertje onder de noten’ met hier een recept voor tomaten met een veganistische dip van gekiemde zonnebloempitten.

Oké, weer terug bij GAPS
Het GAPS-intro zit er bijna op voor mij. Tegen de tijd dat ik mijn volgende stukje schrijf over mijn beleving met het GAPS-dieet, ben ik waarschijnlijk begonnen aan full-GAPS. De enige dingen die ik nu nog moet gaan toevoegen zijn rauwe appel en gedroogde vruchten waarmee ik zoete dingen kan bakken.
Mijn oudste dochter maakte van de week een cake van een pak Biologisch Dynamische cakemix wat we ooit hadden gekregen. Heel fout niet erg gezond natuurlijk, want hoewel BD, wel witte tarwe bloem.. Het wordt dan een beetje goed gemaakt door flink veel grasboter, eieren en kokosbloesemsuiker in plaats van witte suiker, maar toch…
Die cake die stond daar op het aanrecht, werd verorberd met een laag boter of slagroom en ik mocht niet, zucht… Ik heb tot nu toe geen enkele moeite gehad met het niet mogen hebben van allerlei dingen. Hoewel ik wel kon uitkijken naar dingen die ik straks wel mag, maar die cake.. Toen ik ff wat jonger was dan mijn dochter nu is (13), bakte ik ook van alles en het liefst cake. Er was een periode dat ik iedere week een cake bakte, misschien daarom?
In ieder geval mag ik straks dus gaan bakken en dat zoeten met gedroogde vruchten (hmmm, misschien maar eens een bestelling gaan doen bij Sportsnuts.nl, die hebben ook ongezwavelde abrikozen bijvoorbeeld!). En dat is meteen weer het leuke van allerlei dingen níet mogen: je gaat eens wat anders proberen.
Het is dus niet alleen interessant om te doen en hopelijk ook goed voor mijn lijf, maar het inspireert en stimuleert ook om weer van alles in de keuken uit te proberen. Leuke dingen, waar ik jullie dan weer verslag van kan doen hier, ik blij, jullie blij, hoop ik 🙂
Het is wel belangrijk in het oog te blijven houden dat die baksels een ondergeschikt onderdeel zijn. Het belangrijkste blijft de bouillon of soep met de gefermenteerde producten. Het is een valkuil om dan veel dingen te eten die weliswaar toegestaan zijn, maar die eigenlijk niet de hoofdmoot zouden moeten zijn, vooral bij kinderen en vooral die, die als ‘moeilijke eter’ worden gezien.
Ik merk bij mezelf nu al, dat nu ik mijn buik ook met andere dingen kan vullen dan soep, ik er extra op moet letten dat ook te eten, of in ieder geval bouillon te nemen!
Ondertussen ben ik ook begonnen in een ander boek over GAPS, de GAPS Guide. Ik had het al eerder willen lezen, maar het was uitverkocht. Nu is er dan een 2e editie uit. Geschreven door iemand die zelf het dieet heeft gevolgd samen met haar zoontje en een heel fijn boek om naast het GAPS boek zelf, te lezen. Het is niet alleen een ervaringsverslag maar ook een soort praktisch companion boek. Heel handig voor als je daadwerkelijk GAPS wilt gaan doen en hoe je dat dan in de praktijk moet toepassen, een aanrader dus! Erg veel kan ik er nog niet over zeggen, omdat ik misschien nog maar een vijfde ervan heb gelezen.
Dan nog een paar huishoudelijke deelnemingen 😉
Zoals ik al zei, ben ik lekker in de keuken bezig, ja ik heb het er maar druk mee, maar dat geeft niks. En zal ik jullie verslag doen van mijn uitprobeersels, als ze tenminste de moeite waard zijn!
Nu las ik laatst van een uitdaging onder Real Food bloggers om 60 dagen lang íedere dag wat te posten. Nu lijkt me dat wat veel, iedere dag, daar ik nu maar zo’n 1 à 2 keer per week schrijf, maar laten we zeggen dat ik voor 3 à 4 keer per week ga?
Nu mijn vraag aan jullie:
Zijn er dingen waar je graag over wilt lezen, zijn er recepten die je graag wilt uitproberen, kortom: wat wil jij dat ik over schrijf?
